Wholesale fresh black truffle for professional buyers

A wholesale purchase begins with a clear description of how the truffle will be used and where it needs to arrive. Iberian Truffle Trade supplies fresh Tuber melanosporum from Teruel, Spain, never frozen. For professional buyers, the useful starting point is a request that connects the intended preparation, the appropriate grade and the proposed delivery schedule, rather than a search for a published price.

Request an offer

Build the request around your business

This enquiry is for importers, distributors, restaurants, hotels and retailers buying fresh black truffle for professional use. Identify your role so the request reflects your purchasing needs.

Include your company, country, work email and buyer role so that the enquiry identifies both the business and the person arranging the purchase. Add the requested grade, weekly kilograms, destination airport and first delivery date. Use the message field to explain the intended use or any specification that needs discussion before an order can be agreed.

Weekly kilograms describe the requirement you want assessed; they are not a statement of confirmed supply. Likewise, the first delivery date tells us when you would like to begin. Present both clearly, keeping the proposed schedule separate from the final specification that must be agreed before the order.

Match the grade to the preparation

Extra truffles weigh more than 20 grams and have a round or oval shape suited to table shaving. Grade I also weighs more than 20 grams, but has an irregular shape for kitchen use where appearance is unimportant. Choose between these grades according to the presentation you need, rather than treating shape as an isolated purchasing detail.

Grade II comprises irregular truffles under 20 grams, whole or broken, for sauces, butter and infusions. This grade is relevant to volume buyers whose preparations do not require a regular whole truffle for presentation. Describe the application in your request and agree the final specification before placing the order.

Understand when an offer can be made

Prices are never published. Offers are available on request, with pricing determined by the market after harvest begins. A request therefore needs enough information to frame the purchase, including grade and weekly kilograms, rather than only asking for a general price without a delivery destination or timing.

The harvest runs from November to March and uses trained dogs. If you enquire outside the season, the response will give the next harvest date instead of a price. Use that information to plan your next purchasing discussion without treating an out of season enquiry as a current offer.

Prepare the first order

First orders require 100% prepayment. Ask about the payment methods available when discussing the order; no particular payment method is specified here. If a minimum order quantity or samples are important to your buying process, contact us rather than building either assumption into your purchasing plan.

Keep any questions about organic availability in the message accompanying the request. Contact us for that enquiry; do not infer organic availability from the product origin, species or grade. The agreed specification should describe the purchase being arranged, not assumptions carried over from another supplier or a previous enquiry.

Connect purchasing with delivery

Truffles are packed on harvest day and shipped directly in under 48 hours using isothermal packaging that follows IATA requirements. Include the destination airport in the initial request so the delivery discussion starts with the intended destination. Do not substitute a country alone when the enquiry asks for an airport.

For export preparation, ask for the current documents list for your country. Markets include the UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the EU. At arrival, follow the instructions in the box, keep the truffles cool and avoid heat; no storage temperature or shelf life figure is specified here.

Before sending the enquiry, review the relationship between grade and use one more time. A request for table shaving should state that presentation need, while a request for sauces should describe the preparation. This gives the offer discussion a concrete purchasing purpose without adding assumptions about quantities, payment methods or availability.
